Help Us Improve Stelar
Collaborative Editing
Work on a book together in real time, so a parent and child, or two students, can write and illustrate side by side.
Installable Mobile App (PWA)
Install STELAR on your phone or tablet home screen and read your downloaded books offline.
Story Series and Sequels
Continue the adventure. Start a new book from a finished one and STELAR carries over the characters, art style, and world so the sequel feels like the same series.
Shared-Link Insights and Privacy
See how many times a shared book has been opened, and optionally protect a link with a password or an expiry date for family-only sharing.
Print-on-Demand
Order a real hardcover or softcover copy of your book, printed and delivered to your door, straight from the export step.
Upload a Photo for Your Character
Upload a photo of your child, pet, or favourite toy and STELAR will design a storybook character inspired by it, then keep that look consistent across every page.
Story Templates and Occasions
Start from a ready-made structure such as "first day of school", "welcoming a new sibling", "birthday adventure", or seasonal holidays, and let STELAR fill in the details for your child
EPUB Export
Download books as EPUB files that open on Kindle, Apple Books, and most e-readers, with the illustrations and text laid out for reflowable reading.
Stories in More Languages
Write and illustrate books in languages beyond English, starting with the story text and page captions
Animated Story Videos
Turn a finished book into a short animated video with gentle motion on each illustration and narration on top, ready to share on YouTube, TikTok, or family group chats
Audio Narration (Read-Aloud)
Every book gets a warm, natural voice narration you can play page by page in the flipbook, with a choice of voices. Great for bedtime and for early readers following along.
Reorder Pages by Drag and Drop
Rearrange pages in the Scenes step by dragging them, so you can fix pacing without re-splitting the whole story.
Report a Story
A "Report" button on public flipbooks so readers can flag anything that should not be there. Reports go to our moderation team for review.
Child Profiles
Save a profile for each child (name, age, a few favourite things) and pick one when you start a book, so stories are written for that child's age and can feature them by name. Family plans will support up to four profiles.
Bring Your Own API Keys
Power users and educators will be able to add their own API keys in Settings and have their books generated against their own accounts/credits. Keys are encrypted at rest, shown masked, and can be removed at any time.
Accounts and Security
Sign up with email and password or continue with Google. Email verification is required before your first book, password reset works from the login screen, and the Settings page lets you change your display name, change your password, see which sign-in methods are linked, and add a password to a Google-only account.
Autosave and Resume Anywhere
Your work is saved automatically every 30 seconds and kept as a draft, so closing the tab or switching devices never loses a book. Illustrations that are still rendering keep going in the background and sync back into the wizard when you return.
Interactive Flipbook Viewer
Read any finished book as a real flipbook with page-turn animation, a hardcover front and back, and a picture page facing each text page. Includes autoplay with pause, a page scrubber and progress bar, previous/next arrows, a hide-controls mode, and full-screen reading. Pages fade in from a soft preview while they load.
PDF Export with Real Page Sizes
Download your finished book as a PDF at the true dimensions of the page size you chose, with a cover page, author byline, storybook typography, and decorative page numbers. Choose between a combined layout (picture and text on one page) or, on print-ready plans, a full-bleed layout with a picture page facing a text page.
Per-Page Editing, Redo, and Batch Generation
Every page card lets you edit the page text and the illustration prompt, generate or redo that page's picture, and open it full-screen to inspect the detail. "Generate Missing" fills in all pending or failed pages in one go with a progress bar, and if a page fails you see a plain-language reason rather than a mystery error.
