Accounts and Security
Sign up with email and password or continue with Google. Email verification is required before your first book, password reset works from the login screen, and the Settings page lets you change your display name, change your password, see which sign-in methods are linked, and add a password to a Google-only account.
Autosave and Resume Anywhere
Your work is saved automatically every 30 seconds and kept as a draft, so closing the tab or switching devices never loses a book. Illustrations that are still rendering keep going in the background and sync back into the wizard when you return.
Interactive Flipbook Viewer
Read any finished book as a real flipbook with page-turn animation, a hardcover front and back, and a picture page facing each text page. Includes autoplay with pause, a page scrubber and progress bar, previous/next arrows, a hide-controls mode, and full-screen reading. Pages fade in from a soft preview while they load.
PDF Export with Real Page Sizes
Download your finished book as a PDF at the true dimensions of the page size you chose, with a cover page, author byline, storybook typography, and decorative page numbers. Choose between a combined layout (picture and text on one page) or, on print-ready plans, a full-bleed layout with a picture page facing a text page.
Per-Page Editing, Redo, and Batch Generation
Every page card lets you edit the page text and the illustration prompt, generate or redo that page's picture, and open it full-screen to inspect the detail. "Generate Missing" fills in all pending or failed pages in one go with a progress bar, and if a page fails you see a plain-language reason rather than a mystery error.
Automatic Scene Splitting
Your story is broken into exactly the number of pages you chose, with page text and a tailored illustration prompt for each one. Re-split at any time if you have edited the story text.
Age Tuned Writing
Every story is written to match the age you choose. Vocabulary, sentence length, sentences per page, and the intensity of the plot are all calibrated per age band, so a book for a toddler reads very differently from one for a nine-year-old, without you having to tweak anything.
Import Your Own Story
Already have a story written? Paste it in (100 to 25,000 characters), pick an art style, page size, and page count, and STELAR will extract the characters, split it into pages, and illustrate it just like a generated story. Ideal for family stories, classroom writing, and existing manuscripts.
AI Style Gallery
Choose the look of your book from a curated gallery of illustration styles, each with a preview image and description, and searchable from inside the wizard. Some premium styles unlock on higher plans. You can browse the full gallery publicly at /art-styles before you sign up.
AI Character Extraction
After the story is written, STELAR identifies the main characters (up to three) and builds a profile for each: name, species, appearance, clothing, personality, and role in the story. If the cast is not what you expected, re-run extraction with one click.
